British Listed Buildings site, this non-denominational chapel, which dates from the third quarter of the nineteenth century, has a "picturesque Gothic style" in grey brick with a “plain fortress-like south wing [that] has angle towers and a blank 1st floor over entrance archway. North of this a porch bay leads to the chapel proper, an octagonal tower with spire having l-bay arms on other 3 sides and a tiny apse to the north.
