'Robinson Asleep', Doyle's witty take on the exhaustion of tourists whose comsumerist's approach to experiencing as much 'culture' as possible inevitably leads to exhaustion. In this design Robinson is the emblematic over-laden Briton, consumed by the fatigue of travel and cultural adjustment. Wood engraving, cut by Swain; 3 x 4 inches. [Click on image to enlarge it.]
