Above each appears a round class with the word describing the virtue he represents and beneath whom appears a crucial scene from his religious life. Thus, “Wisdom” appears above Abraham Patriarch" and the scene below depicts his receiving the divine message from the Lord; (b) “Fortitde” appears above St. Paul of Tarsus and the light below depicts his spectacular moment of conversion; (c) “Patience” appears above St. Francis of Assisi, and below his vision of an angel; (d) “Faith” appears above S[t]. Austin Archbishop and the scene below shows him voyage in in a boat to convert the inhabitants of Britain.
Left: Top center of window. Right: Section immediately below: God the Father in majesty with the crucified Christ immediately below. I assume the red winged figure is an angel representing caritas and not an image of the Holy Ghost.
The three scenes of the Fall and Salvation in the section immediately before the rows of biblical personages: Adam and Eve, The Crucifixion, and The Annunciation.
