Office block
Isaiah Robert Edmondson Birkett (1853-1933).
1902
Watercolor
62 cm. x 61 cm
This signed and dated drawing shows the front elevation of a six-storey building which faced the street in the Piccadilly area of central Manchester (not to be confused with London's Piccadilly). It is one of several large office/warehouse blocks which Birkett designed in Manchester. This specific building may have been destroyed by enemy bombing during World War II.
